My FPS is capped at a specific number
FPS caps are usually due to an game, driver, or power setting. Configuring these settings properly will allow you to increase your FPS. If your FPS is low, but not stuck at a specific number, use our low frame rate article. If your frame rate is not low, use our performance troubleshooting resources article.
In game menus are intentionally capped at 60 FPS. This cannot be increased. The troubleshooting below is only for frame rate issues while playing the game.

Changes to the software settings on your video card drivers may cause crashes or performance issues. Reset your video driver settings to correct this problem.

Reset your in-game options to resolve crashing and performance problems.
- In game settings can prevent you from reaching higher frame rates. Change these settings to uncap your in game FPS.
- Limit FPS
- Press Esc while in game and choose Options
- On the Video tab, find the Limit FPS option
- Set the drop down menu to Custom
- Move the Frame Rate Cap slider to your desired FPS
- Vsync
- Press Esc while in game and choose Options
- On the Video tab, find the VSync option
- Toggle this setting to Off
- Limit FPS
